It was the last time the Danish Airshow were hosted at Flyvestation Aalborg. Then we had that little pandemic thing and after that the war in Ukraine forced the Royal Danish Airforce to prioritize other activities.

But it seems like it will return to Aalborg in 2026. I sure hope so.

It is the danish version of Veterans Day, where we celebrate and give our respect to the danish soldiers who have served and been stationed at NATO based throughout the world.
The photo is one I took some years ago at the Danish Airshow 2018 of the RDAF F-16A Block 20 MLU with registration number E-607. This plane has also been stationed at some of the worlds hot spots since it entered service in 1983.
